Coverage of the library
The library holds 2,428 records from 8 sources at five regulators, the latest filed on 2026-09-04. 2,428 have been checked against the regulator's document by AI agents, 190 still show a filing with no outcome recorded, and 13 named sources are not collected.
Records by source and year
Shading shows each cell as a share of its row, so a small source and a large one can be compared. The collection windows differ: SEC litigation releases start in 2015, while the other standing sources start in 2013. Before 2013 only the administrative law judge decisions (collected from 2003) and a few individually added SEC documents appear.

Sources not collected
None of these is in the counts above. Most are closed to automated readers by the publisher's own instruction or by a bot challenge, which this project does not get around.
| Source | Where | Status | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| DOJ press releases | US | Rolling window only | The press-release index renders client-side and its pager returns HTTP 403, so only the site-wide RSS feed is read. There are no DOJ records in the library; criminal matters appear through the criminal-parallel flag on SEC and CFTC records. |
| FINRA disciplinary actions | US | Not collected | FINRA's robots.txt asks crawlers not to read the disciplinary index, the online database or the action documents. |
| FINRA arbitration awards | US | Not collected, out of scope | Closed by the same robots.txt, and a private damages award is not a finding that anyone broke the law. |
| NFA disciplinary actions | US | Not collected | The robots.txt disallows the directory the disciplinary system lives in. |
| NYDFS virtual-currency enforcement | US | Not collected, not an access gap | Open to read. Eight consent orders were read in full and none describes trading misconduct. |
| SEC whistleblower award orders | US | Not collected, not an access gap | Each order redacts the covered action, so no respondent or release number remains to attach a record to. |
| CIRO enforcement | Canada | Not collected | Every path answered with a Cloudflare challenge when last checked (2026-09-20), and the library does not defeat bot protection. |
| BCSC and ASC enforcement | Canada | Not collected | Client-rendered search applications with no feed and no crawlable index. |
| AMF enforcement | Canada (Quebec) | Not collected | A Cloudflare challenge on every path, including robots.txt. |
| CSA Disciplined List | Canada | Not collected | A JavaScript challenge, and a register of who was sanctioned rather than what they did. |
| Hong Kong SFC enforcement news | Hong Kong | Not collected | A client-rendered application over an undocumented API, with no feed and no per-release URLs in the sitemap. |
| Singapore MAS enforcement actions | Singapore | Not collected, to be retried | On 2026-09-20 every path answered with a maintenance page. The robots.txt would permit crawling. |
| CySEC enforcement | Cyprus | Not collected | The robots.txt disallows everything for crawlers other than two named search engines. |
Freshness
The newest record was written to the library on 2026-10-01, and the most recent filing date is 2026-09-04. Most records carry an earlier write date because the library was rebuilt in bulk in September 2026, so the write date shows when the data was last touched, not how recently each regulator's output was read.
How to read counts on this site
A count here is a count of records, and a record is one regulator document: one release, one order, one decision. A matter that produced a filing, a settlement and a judgment can appear as three records, so a record count is not a count of schemes or of people.
The records show what regulators chose to pursue and publish, in the sources this library reads, from the dates it reads them. They do not show how much manipulation happened, which regulator does more, or whether activity rose or fell, because the sources start in different years and different documents are in or out of scope. Money is in US dollars only where a US regulator states it; sterling, Australian and Canadian figures are kept as published and are never converted. An allegation in a complaint is not a finding, and a record says which it is.
See the regulator pages for each source's dates and gaps, and five regulators compared for the same point in prose.
