SEC v. Chamroonrat, Plumer, Avnon, Armon and G Six Trading (2017)
Alleged — pending
These are allegations. SEC has filed an action; nothing in it has been proven, and the respondents have not been found liable. Everything described on this page is what the regulator alleges, not what a court has found. See our editorial policy.
Checked against the primary document on October 4, 2026. The library's summary, tags and figures for this record were compared with the regulator's own document by an AI model (Claude) following written instructions, with sampled and disputed records read a second time. No lawyer has reviewed them. A checked record can still contain errors, and checked does not mean endorsed. See how we check records or report a correction.
In May 2017 the SEC amended its New Jersey complaint to add Yaniv Avnon, Ran Armon and G Six Trading Y.R Ltd. to its case over Nonko Trading, a phony day-trading firm. The original defendants Chamroonrat and Plumer later consented to injunctions and industry bars; no outcome was found for the three added defendants.

What is alleged to have happened
In May 2017 the SEC amended its New Jersey complaint to add Yaniv Avnon, Ran Armon and G Six Trading Y.R Ltd. to its case over Nonko Trading, a phony day-trading firm that took more than $1.4 million from hundreds of investors. The amended complaint of May 11, 2017 charges the three new defendants with fraud and broker-dealer registration violations in the Nonko Trading scheme, in which customers had simulated accounts and their orders never reached the markets. The original December 2016 complaint named Chamroonrat and Plumer. A parallel criminal case was announced against Avnon and Armon, and Chamroonrat pleaded guilty in May 2017. The case is a fake-brokerage fraud, not a Ponzi scheme, so the ponzi-schemes tag has been removed. These are allegations.
Outcome for the original defendants. Court filings show that Chamroonrat consented to a final judgment on September 18, 2017 and Plumer on November 21, 2017, and Commission orders of March 8 and September 26, 2017 barred each from the securities industry. Those outcomes are recorded on the December 2016 record for this case.
Checked on 2026-10-04: no outcome was found on SEC pages for Avnon, Armon or G Six Trading, so this record stays at filed and the status does not describe the whole case.
